I attended Jumu’ah at this masjid and wanted to share some sincere feedback for the sake of Allah. First, I was surprised that attendees were required to wear a mask or otherwise sit in the back. While masjid policies may exist for specific reasons, I hope such rules are applied with wisdom and gentleness so that no one feels uncomfortable or marginalized in the house of Allah. Secondly, during the khutbah, there were moments of small laughter and casual interaction between the khateeb and some attendees. While approachability is important, the khutbah is a sacred act of worship that requires seriousness, attentiveness, and humility. The Prophet ﷺ strongly emphasized maintaining focus during Jumu’ah. He said: “Whoever touches the pebbles has engaged in idle talk.” (Man massal-ḥaṣā faqad laghā) In another narration: “If you say to your companion, ‘Be quiet,’ while the imam is delivering the khutbah on Friday, you have engaged in idle speech.” — Sahih al-Bukhari (934) and Sahih Muslim (851) These ahadith show how sacred and serious the khutbah is—so much so that even minimal distraction or casual behavior is discouraged. The masjid is meant to be a place of khushu’, reverence, and remembrance of Allah, especially during Jumu’ah. My sincere hope is that future khutbahs uphold this dignity so that hearts remain fully present and focused.

Beautiful Musalla & Welcoming Community This is a beautiful Musalla with a very peaceful atmosphere. Even though it is a small gathering for Jummah prayer, the people are incredibly nice and welcoming to newcomers. It’s a great place to pray if you are in the area. Important: Note on Prayer Timing The only issue I encountered was with the timing listed on Google. Currently, it shows that the mosque is open for Jummah from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. I took an Uber all the way from near the airport and arrived by 1:25 PM, only to find that the prayer had already finished. The actual Jummah prayer time is 12:30 PM. I highly recommend arriving early to ensure you don't miss the congregation. I hope the administration can update the Google listing soon to prevent others from missing the prayer!
