Mahizer Turkish sweet & Coffee

So much variety of sweets especially in baklava 🫶🏻 love their service and taste amazing

Mahizer on Michigan@Schaefer has great little treats! I've had the Turkish Delight (the super friendly owners practically force you to sample several of their many, many flavors!), the huge Biscoff cookie is to die for and I even tried the Gozleme (?) a spinach and cheese(?) turnover thing in a flaky pastry and it was somewhat familiar-tasting, savory and filling! The space is super clean, modern with pretty furniture and fixtures but it's truly the owner man (?) and his really sweet, helpful wife (?) that made me feel welcome in a place I might never have otherwise visited! If you're in the mood for something different (but still somewhat familiar), try them out!

One of the sweetest and most respectful encounters i’ve ever experienced. The owner offered to give me a drink on the house and I of course had to leave a tip and they still offered to give me more stuff on the house. Couldn’t leave until they made sure the drinks were good

The place is beautiful and comfortable. The staff are very kind and generous, and their sweets are delicious and fresh. **The Turkish coffee there has a superb taste.**
