Afghan Kebab House

Such a nice and intimate place! We really enjoyed our dinner. The dumpling appetizers were delicious, and the bread was served fresh and hot. The highlight for me was the Kabuli Palaw — the rice with lamb, carrots, raisins, and almonds. It was absolutely delicious and honestly one of the best I’ve ever had! We will definitely return!

I had the most amazing food today and such a delightfully relaxed experience. I got the appetizer combination platter to try a few new things and not a single one disappointed me. I look forward to coming back with friends!

Wonderful place and the food is exceptional

Delicious food. A real neighborhood gem. Fish tandoori was out of this world.

We had great meals. Lamb Kebab was very good. My dining companions liked their turmeric chicken. Rice with our dishes was excellent. Good bread was served. The owner is friendly. Definitely worth walking over to First Avenue for this.

Finally went to this family owned restaurant and I am so glad I did. The food was delicious. Very fresh and flavorful. We had a fish kabab, chicken kabab and lamb kabab. Each came with brown basmati rice topped with carrots and raisins. Best of all its BYOB! Small friendly and very inviting. Great for groups and birthdays. The owner will welcome you with open arms.
