Afghan Kababs & Grill

The roast lamb (kabuli pulao) is out of this world. I cannot recommend enough. Its sweet and salty and savory all in one. The bolani (with potato) was really good as well.

ambience here has changed a lot with better lighting since the new partner joined, feeling much more welcoming and polished. The food quality has also improved , with every dish tasting fresher and more flavorful than before. keep up the good work . thanks to the staff ,we will be back again .

Great new layout for their seating. Excellent customer service. They have added a new middle eastern cuisine (Maqluba and Mansaf) which was high quality. I highly support this establishment and we plan to come back again.

We eat here every couple weeks. Their food is always on point and they’ve done such a nice job with their ambience!

It's a shame as my family was looking forward to trying Afghani cuisine for the first time and it was entirely overshadowed by the nonexistent service. There was 1 person attending and 2 other small families of 3 as well dining in. It took us early 40 minutes to get our order taken, we had to pick our own drinks from the fridge, and our food finally all came with our appetizers served about 3 minutes before our food. We had to ask twice for silverware and napkins and were given exactly 3 napkins only. One of our dishes had fries, many of which were randomly cold. Our grilled chicken kebab was DRYYYYYYYYY and charred. The rice was good, salad was fine. There was 1 family of 3 there before us, and we saw they were served food about 45 minutes after we sat down. Another family of 3 came after us and were eating well before my family. A few other couples and families of 3 trickled in, everybody was unhappy by the time we left. Then it was another battle to get the check. By this point, the other families in the restaurant all complained, as well as new families that came in and waited, and people who placed orders to go. The waiter himself kept apologizing to everyone, but also not moving to help more quickly. I move faster to make breakfast at home for 3 people... I had to ask for the check 4 times and a box 3 times... before he came back with 1 box (for 3 plates of food) and said he 'wasn't sure' he had more and had to check. He had a line of takeout customers, what was used for their food? He never came back with a 2nd box for us. Cheap. Lastly, I paid cash and he said he "wasn't sure" if he would have change for me. I wish I had smaller bills to give because he definitely kept my change intentionally, which is theft and dishonest and CHEAP. It was a shame because we really looked forward to this place and their vegetarian options are vast in comparison to other restaurants, but nothing was worth the experience we had. In the end, we spent over 2 full hours, of which at least 1 1/2 hours was wasted waiting for service. I do not recommend.

This was our first time here and it will not be my last. The prices and portions were fantastic. I highly recommend.

First time and most likely last time I order over 40$ after long day of work try to enjoy delicious hot meal I ordered samosa ،bolani and roasted lamb qabuli brown rice , rice was served with small pieces of meat instead of lamb chunk plus no carrots or raisins!?!!!! how it comes you called yourself Afghan kabab grill and you serving and representing the afganian cuisine on this poor service and quality !!! I just figured out the samosa I ordered beef Ipaid extra instead of that got a vegetable samosa !!!!!! Wow
